Cornell University plant breeders offer this new variety of butternut squash, specially adapted to production in the Northeastern United States.

  • Hybrid between 'Honeynut' and 'Bugle'
  • Small size allows this squash to be split for two people to enjoy as a side dish
  • Reduced greening from 'Bugle', with high yield and quality from 'Honeynut'
  • Early maturity and stores better than either parent
  • Adapted to production in the Northeastern US
  • Increased insect resistance, specifically Striped Cucumber Beetle non-preference for this variety
  • Powdery mildew, downy mildew, and black rot resistant
