Short Description

A branched fluidic channel architecture and system were devised for sorting single molecules based upon their fluorescence signature.

Abstract

Real-time signal processing and analysis of the signature are used to actuate rapid switching of the electrokinetic flow to separate molecules of interest into collection volumes. This technology can be scaled to examine and sort based upon multiple fluorescent marks.
