Soft White Winter Wheat 'Bridgeport' is resistant to Wheat Spindle Streak Mosaic Virus and Wheat Soil Borne Mosaic Virus.

Abstract

'Bridgeport' Soft White Winter Wheat has a PVP application pending. Winter survival is similar to current varieties. This variety is susceptible to Fusarium Head Blight (scab) but appears to be more resistant than 'Caledonia'. Resistant to Wheat Spindle Streak Mosaic Virus and Wheat Soil Borne Mosaic Virus. This variety is moderately susceptible to powdery mildew.
